Fractional RF Skin Rejuvenation
Over the last decade, the increase in demand for non-surgical solutions to aging and damaged skin has steadily increased as new treatments and technologies have been introduced. A major cause of skin wrinkles, skin laxity and cellulite is the reduction in both the quantity and quality of collagen fibers in the epidermis and dermis. Our state of the art, fractional radio frequency laser utilizes pulsed light to deliver high energy to the dermis and subcutaneous tissues without extensive damage to the epidermis. Clinical studies have shown a significant reduction of wrinkles and laxity in the skin immediately after treatment and further improvement three months post-treatment. It is well documented that one of the effects of dramatic heating is an immediate change in collagen production followed by a longer-term stimulation of neocollagenesis starting at 4 to 6 weeks after therapy. These changes can reduce the appearance of wrinkles in laxity and improve contours and both the face and body.
